May 2020 Newsletter

Hi to all Members,

Another dance-free month and it looks like it will be a while before we can return to the dance floor. The mornings are certainly a bit chillier, but don’t despair…we are almost to the shortest day of the year.

On a sad note we have been notified that Brian Lake passed away recently. We send our condolences to Fay and family at this time.

Some members are keeping up with their dancing in their homes. Jim and Sue are having a great time, as seen in these photos. This is their “Formal Night”.

There have been several birthdays since we last danced. So, we wish you all belated birthday greetings and hope there is many more to come.

If anyone is interested in purchasing   Jenny Pensa’s dance tapes, complete with player and instruction book could you please telephone me on 0414267200. These have been kindly donated and the money will be given to the club’s Cancer Fund.

Remember to keep in touch and let us know your news. If you would like to pass on a story of interest to Members, you can send it to us and we will include it in the newsletter.

Keep safe and well. Until next time,

Lyn Barber. (Secretary).

*Joke of the Month*

A man was excavating in his back yard.

“What are you doing?” asked his neighbour.

“I’m burying my poor dead cat”.

“Oh, what a shame. But Fred was only a little cat. Why are you digging such a huge hole”, said the neighbour.

“Because he’s inside your b… Alsatian.”

Sue and Jim’s “Bad Taste Night”.
