September 2018

Hello To All Members,

The past month has seen increasing numbers at our dances, averaging 53. We welcome all the new members. Now the weather is getting warmer we hope it will bring more people back to dancing.

We had a great roll up at our Spring Dance this week, in spite of the cool damp night. The members draw has jack-potted again and now stands at $20.

We will be learning a new dance next week (12th)…The Bluebell Swing. So come along at 6.30 to learn it before our regular dance starts at 7pm.

“Glitzy Dance Shoes” will be in attendance on Oct 17th  with a display of dance shoes to purchase.

The next ‘themed’ night dance will be held on Nov. 14th, so come dressed as anything to depict a letter, eg. ‘F’..flower, or ‘P’..pilot.

A fruit tray raffle in aid of the Drought Relief will be held whenever “White Heather” play this year.

Our first raffle for the The Public Rural Crisis Fund raised $153 plus we had an $8 donation. So well done everybody.
